Ancient Noble Estate On The Outskirts Of Milan
Prestigious historica property surrounded by a naturalistic context of great beauty near Milan
Stunning period estate with original 17th-century frescoes for sale in Lombardy
On the outskirts of Milan, surrounded by a naturalistic context of great beauty, there is this charming historical villa of great historical and artistic prestige.
Designed between the end of the seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries, commissioned by Count Giuseppe Resta, by the most important Lombard architect of the time, Francesco Maria Richini, author of the renowned Pinacoteca di Brera and the most prestigious villas in the Milan area, this estate is a splendid example of the first Lombard baroque period, perfectly preserved up to us.
The noble owners who stayed there until the early twentieth century used to spend their moments of leisure there, taking care, among other things, of the various agricultural and real estate properties on site. Among the most illustrious people who visited it, in 1789 we remember the Archduchess Maria Theresa of Austria and her brother, who later became Emperor.
Bound as a National Monument for its immense historical and artistic interest, this property is currently used as a prestigious venue for private events and ceremonies. Each room of the villa offers an elegant and refined atmosphere that is both warm and welcoming, ideal for elegant wedding lunches: the large finely decorated rooms on the ground floor offer the possibility to comfortably accommodate up to three hundred guests, as well as the halls of the upper floor, connected by a monumental staircase made of pink granite, which for over three centuries have fascinated and enchanted with their original splendidly decorated coffered ceilings and frescoes of the Tiepolesca school, preserved with immense care, as well as the furnishings, original from the seventeenth century. A disco room has been created in the old vaulted cellar with exposed bricks.
The magic also continues outside in a dreamy setting, among majestic old trees and an elegant eighteenth-century-style fountain.
Ideal for exclusive cocktail parties and drinks in style, the large green spaces that characterize the Italian garden offer ever-new scenarios for your events.
A few kilometers from the center of Milan, this is a classy environment that combines the prestige of a past rich in history with the charm of the most luxuriant nature, in a fairytale setting.
